Public Hearing – D’Addario & Company, Inc.

NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to Article 18-A of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York (the “Act”), that the Town of Babylon Industrial Development Agency (the “Agency”), will hold a public hearing on the proposed granting of financial assistance to the following related entities with respect to the following facilities at the following locations: (i) NYXL Realty, LLC (“NYXL”), with respect to the acquisition, construction and equipping of a 12,000 square foot addition connecting the facilities located at 525 and 535 Smith Street in Farmingdale, New York (the “NYXL Facility”); and (ii) D’Addario & Company, Inc. (“D’Addario, Inc.”) with respect to the acquisition, construction and equipping of an approximately 14,000 square foot addition to the facilities located at 590 Smith Street in Farmingdale, New York (the “D’Addario Inc. Facility”); (D’Addario Inc. and together with NYXL, collectively the “Owners”), with respect to the NYXL Facility and the D’Addario Inc. Facility, (collectively, the “Facility”), all for use by the D’Addario Inc. in its business as a manufacturer of musical instrument accessories; strings for musical instruments, drumsticks, drumheads, reeds and mouthpieces for clarinets and saxophones as well as other accessory products.

Pursuant to applicable State Law, the Agency proposes to grant financial assistance with respect to the Facility consisting of exemptions from New York State and local sales and use taxation.

Owners: D’Addario Inc. and NYXL, 595 Smith Street, Farmingdale, New York 11735.

Facility Locations are: 525 & 535 and 590 Smith Street, in Farmingdale, New York 11735.

Public Hearing: All persons, organizations, corporations or governmental agencies are invited to submit comments concerning the granting of financial assistance. The hearing will be held on October 20, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at the Old Town Hall 47 West Main Street in Babylon, New York 11702.

Be advised that it is possible that certain of the aforementioned proposed transactions may be removed from the hearing agenda prior to the hearing date. Information regarding such removals will be available on the Agency’s website www.babylonida.org/news-events at on or about 12:00 P.M. of the day prior the hearing.
